There is a very good chance that it was not produced due to lack of interest. I really don't know. I just remembered that I had seen it cataloged.Jimmy LisleSent from my Verizon, Samsung Galaxy smartphone

In a garage in NE Florida. I do see where MTH had listed the Virginian EL3 engine but I dont see proof it was ever produced. It was back in 2007. Are you O scale 2 rail or 3 rail? I'm 2 rail.

Interesting thought about Bob Stevenson. I have purchased O Scale drivers from him in the past. I will have to send him an email.
Right now I have an O scale plastic model of an M I bought 10 years ago that for which I am building a new brass frame mechanism with Baker valve gear. In the wings I have a MTH PRR h3 (I think) I bought to convert to a N&W G1 following a series of articles from the late Joe Giannovario in O Scale trains. If I get through those maybe I will take on an LC-1 (two of course)
We will see
Thanks everybody

Much as I'm flattered at the spelling of the company's name below, I believe it's actually Stevenson Preservation Lines.

Tom,
The guy who runs Stephenson Preservation Lines at one time had contacts with some one who was building one and said he would have access to the etchings once the original was done. I told him I'd certainly be interested in one. Never heard anything about it again.
