old Rivarossi engines and large flanges

Kurt, did you turn them down while still mounted on their plastic driver centers? If so, did you have any issues with the tire spinning on the center?

I bought a lot of them in the 70s and 80s to convert into all the classes, I had a Unimate lathe
that I turned down the flanges. The problem with swapping them out is finding the same type of axle or modifying the 
bearing area.
