I’ve also done a write-up on a forum years ago. I went looking for it today and found it’s been removed. Luckily I decided to transcribe the content to a local document last year. I.e., I still have it. All the photos are stored on a photo sharing site, so they were safe all along.

Being a “real time” forum build, the description is more of a narrative rather than step by step. One day, I’ll build it into a concise document - or add the descriptions to the image gallery.

In any case, it came out well enough to place first at a regional and national NMRA convention.
