What road names are appropriate

The State of Maine R-W-B insulated boxcars were probably Bangor and Aroostook or could have been New Haven. To my knowledge they were the only roads with SoM boxcars. No MEC cars painted like that. They show up in quite a few N&W videos.
Those "football" CG cars were common all over too. Neat paint job.

Speaking about the north end of the Shenandoah Division the most interesting cars I saw in the 1950's were the red/white/blue boxcars with "State of Maine Products" on their sides.  Probably Bangor  Aroostock or Maine Central.  Also the Central of Georgia 50' cars, black with a big silver oval on their sides, two or three cars at a time.  Other than that, you name it.  Most boxcars were oxide red in the 50's. Almost all the hoppers were N&W in my memory.  It's interesting what you can find in N&W videos and vintage photos. --Rick Morrison

I finally got around to cataloging all the rolling stock I have, and I realized that most if not all of what I have is for N&W.
What other road names would have had been seen on N&W rails during the 40s-60s?  I figure Virginian is a given, and maybe Southern.  What else?  I'm looking for rolling stock that I can get that will add some variety while still being prototypical for that period.
