Pre-Order - Rapido H16-44

  This is the official opening of the society pre-order for the Rapido
H16-44. The society will have access to all available road names but this
message will focus on the N&W and VGN models.

  All road numbers listed below are available in DCC /sound and DC:

 

VGN Road Numbers:  39,42,47 and 49

N&W Road Numbers: 139, 141,143, and 144

 

  Available road numbers are subject to change as I have been informed by
Rapido that they are still scanning over prototype data and photos provided
by Modeling Chairman Ed Painter. Rapido will make road number changes (if
necessary) so as to comply with the data provided.   Production has not yet
begun so any variances shown in the artwork will be corrected.

 

  Society price for the DCC/sound versions are $275.00.  Society price for
the DC version is $185.00. Unfortunately member discount will not apply to
this model as our margins are very small.  A $25.00 non-refundable deposit
(per locomotive) will be required upon reservation. This is a result of
previous pre-orders not being paid for (RS-11s and fishbelly hoppers) which
burdens the society with excess inventory.  The $25.00 deposit for each
locomotive will be applied to the final balance upon invoicing.

 

  Deadline for pre-orders is April 30th.  This deadline could also be
extended once Rapido determines their production schedule.
