Fw: Obit for Gene Campbell - Former N&W Employee in Forest, Virginia

Sad news. We recently lost one of the Blue Ridge Chapter’s most faithful members. I’m told that Gene actually was instrumental in forming the original Lynchburg Chapter, NRHS that preceded the current Blue Ridge Chapter, NRHS. He would tell us stories about working for the old N&W in Forest, Virginia. I think that Gene worked in the tower that used to be there. Anyone that knew Gene or has stories and/or photos of him to share are asked to send them to our BRC, NRHS Dispatcher newsletter editor Garland Harper at GRHarper at aol.com. We would love to include them in our August, 2019 Dispatcher newsletter. Gene was a great family man also. He will be missed by all.
