Jack: Contact me offlist. I have a few of the Proto 0-8-0's. I can reletter one N&W for you, and I think you may like my price.

Thanks for the offer of the GP18, but I am really wanting a S1.

I am sorry to say someone else has already spoken for the 0-8-0. Only other N&W loco I have available is a GP18.

I am not much of a modeler when it comes to modifying one road name to another and changing details. Close is good enough for me as I simply enjoy running trains on my layout. How difficult would it be to change your Southern to Norfolk and Western. I am really more interested in how it runs and is DCC than I am in details.

Look for a Proto 0-8-0 in plastic it is a good starting point for a detail
correction and are not that expensive compared to brass.

I checked brasstrains.com but no S1A
shows up. Keep a check on their website-S1 locos show up
occasionally.

I am looking for a HO
scale N&W steam switcher, such as a 0-8-0, that was used
in and around the Lamberts Point yard and Norfolk during the
1950s. Anyone know where I might find one? Thanks,
Jack Fletcher
