Hi Mike 
I suggest you look at the website Appalachian railroad modeling. Great ideas there. 
Also. There was an email thread a while back about a meat packing or distribution company serviced by N&W that was located in Northfork and serviced by the railroad.  Very interesting different revenue in the middle of coal country.
