[NW Modeling List]

It is always a good thing to support the Society by buying things through
the Society so long as the price and assurance you will receive your item
are reasonably comparable with the competition. As member #70 going back to
1985 I've always tried to do this whenever possible.



So the questions are:  can specific road numbers be reserved through the
Society with the guarantee a member will receive his/her models when they
are released?   And if so, what will the pre-order price for the model be?
The best re-order prices from dealers range from $265 to $250 for DCC and
sound.  Multiple dealers are currently taking pre-orders with no money
down.  Is the Society taking pre-orders now?  When it comes to selling
models, books, and such the Society needs to run things like a business
meeting or exceeding what competitors are doing both with service and
pricing if it expects to be successful at it.



I have not formally placed my pre-orders yet.......but will soon.  ??
