611-613 Cab Interior

[NW Modeling List]

The cabs on all N&W steam were green. The wood was installed on 611 at Birmingham in 1982, I was surprised when I first saw it on the test run in August of that year. 

The cab curtains were canvas and natural canvas color, but usually had gotten fairly dirty with soot and cinders in a short time.
