Note #1 - HC71A has Additional Round Loading Hatches built into trough

Note #4 - HCS26 Cars Lettered with blank panel between 88 and balance of 3
remaining digits of car number on car side
Note #4 - HCS27 Cars Lettered with no blank panel in middle of road number
on car side
Note #6 - no NS Car Class - Cars lasted under Original Lease to (old) NS /
Southern until mid-1980's were returned to leassor, many still in service
today under PTLX reporting marks, some with original NS lettering on car
sides
Note #7 - HCS26&27 have larger late model jacking pads.
Notes on the Models:
Tangent 4740's are detail specific to original build dates including under
car bracing and jacking pad design.
Athearn 4740's are generic cars and are too short, by ~2-1/2' in order to
fit in original Athearn medium blue box
Intermounatin 4750's have numerous technical errors, most significant is
that they are a specific to a small order of Soo Line cars, with the brake
line running through the center sill of the car and a test design of
discharge gates, not used on any other car.
Tangent 4750's are designed to have road specific details, including correct
jacking pads, side sill mounted brake rigging and multiple options on the
discharge gates.
