To my knowledge, the Overland is the only HO model that has been done with the correct domes.

When I talked to the Rivarossi Hornby guy at the train show at the NMRA National, he told me that they did do the tender in accordance with the drawings, and did not change the domes. He said "they" thought that modelers could change the domes more easily than the tender. To my eye it--the tender--looked okay. I didn't break out scale rule and the drawings.

So each of us will have to decide a)if the wrong domes bother us, b)if the domes can be fixed (3D printing, resin, or??), c)if the rear engine swiveling bothers us, and d)what each of us is willing to trade off for the difference between a Riv at $4-500, a Key at $800-1,000, or the Ajin/Overland at $1,500-2,000. There's another brass one allegedly coming out soon (PSC?) for over $3K.
