N&W Tuscan Red

As everyone else has said, you have to pick what looks good to you. The
method outlined below happens to be the same as what I've started using. I
think it looks pretty good to match the photos, etc. I have. I'd be curious
who submitted the one below and if anyone has tried LV Cornell Red over gray
to possibly brighten it for NS models.

Subject: N&W Tuscan Red
The best match for the N&W passenger tuscan I have found is a two step
process.
1. Paint the car gloss black
2. Paint over the gloss black with LV Cornell Red.
This produces a tuscan slightly different than PRR Tuscan and definitely
closer to actual color than any red, including the Scalecoat N&W red, which
is to red.
Decal the car, finish coat it with semi gloss or flat and enjoy.
