My last car is still the caboose. But 36" x .088" was where I was headed. Thanks for the confirmation.

Don;

The H11 class family ran on 36" diameter wheels and 100 ton trucks. From a modeling standpoint there are numerous manufacturers who make suitable trucks and metal wheels. The 100 ton trucks that come with Bowser's cars have depressed springs similar to that of a loaded car. Athearn, Atlas, Accurail, Bachmann, Kadee, ExactRail and Intermountain all make 100 ton trucks . Personally I would use the Bowser truck and replace the wheels with 36" x .088" wheel sets from ExactRail, at least on what would be the last car on the train.

Here’s a modeling question for the brain trust. What size wheels are used for the H11 through H11e hoppers? I have assumed 36 inch, but want to know if I am correct. Thanks.
