Great idea!  It will keep me from lugging around a power pack.  BTW, I run my Tortoise machines on a 9-volt power supply.

I use a 9-volt battery with alligator clips to move the tortoise to the center position when installing the throw rod and then test the travel. The 9-volt is very portable.
