That's correct. It comes down to a matter of preference. There are now a couple good cars out there that match N&W fleet. So the question becomes one of preference. If you are looking for 10 hoppers, You should definitely look into some of the nicer stuff available, like BLI, etc.... If you are looking to make a fleet of 100 hoppers, cost and convenience may come into play.

There are several good books you can find on the net/ebay, or in the nwhs.org commissary.
