Mr. Davenport, I have ordered one of the N&W RPO's. I discussed the paint color with Ken at Division Point last week, and it looks very good. Thank You for all of your hard work and effort. Jim Flummer

Gents; The three VGN passenger cars that Division Point was going to produce were the CH4 coach, the BM3 baggage and mail, and the Winging Gulf club car. Working with the Illinois Railway Museum at Union , Ill. and the N&WHS archive I put together a complete drawing package for each of these cars for Division Point. Drawing and photo packages were also put together for the PA 4-6-2 pacifics at the same time. Jack was very enthusiastic about producing the entire VGN passenger train. He and I disagreed regarding which PA versions to offer. He wanted to offer the #212 with slant cab and the #210 with the originial box car. I wanted the #212 and the #213 both with slant cabs and without the oil/water separator ahead of the stack. My reasoning was that #212 was the only PA with a standard stoker and a unique tender fill funnel. The #213 had a duplex stoker and the standard tender water fill funnel and thus could be renumbered to any of the other four PA's without much effort. Also the ugly oil/water separator that was applied to some of the PA's could be included separately in the parts package for those who like ugly things <g>. Now It appears to be a moot point since DP has cancelled both the cars and engines. I have asked that the drawing packages be returned and we will seek another importer for the project. I am now working up a package for the original N&W RS3s for DP. DP wants to add the N&W RS3s to their currect run of these ALCO diesels. A drawing package for the N&W RS11s will be worked up for DPs later run of RS11s. As for the N&W heavyweight passenger cars, it has been a long wait but I believe that the wait will be worth it for those of us that can afford them. If you don't like the paint scheme on the RPOs blame me. The paint work was taken from my photos. Harold Davenport - Chairman N&WHS modeling committee.

The Division Point Virginian Cars are on hold/cancelled due to lack of
orders.
If they get more reservations/request they will do them. That's only three
(3) cars fellas!
