Coincidently, I just received this decoder today. I intended to put it in a PS-4, but it may find it's way into something else now! I may just have to hook it up and play through the whistles now just to check them out!

You know about the new Tsunami by Soundtraxx that covers "southern" steam? Here's a quote from a website describing it.

NEW! TSU-1000 for Southern Railroads
After many requests from our friends in southern regions, we are now producing a "Southern Steam"TSU-1000. This decoder will feature seven whistles often heard along the southeastern rail lines. The whistles are:

Norfolk & Western Class J, No. 611
Norfolk & Western Class A, No. 1218
Crosby 3-Chime
Lunkenhiemer 3-Chime
Southern Railway Single Chime
Southern Railway 3-Chime
"Tweetsie" Whistle (East Tennesee Western & North Carolina, No. 12)

The TSU-1000 Southern Steam retails for $119.00
Part Number Description
826121 Southern Steam

Does any company make a Class J whistle that is acceptable from the factory?
I realize that there are some programmable decoders out there, too... is that a better option?
I have an HO Spectrum J and a Key K2a I would like to install them in.
Thank you for any advice....
