33" typically for 70 ton and less.

100 ton cars typically have 36" wheels, and 125 ton 38" wheels.

Subject: Wheels for 70 ton hoppers

I just have a question on the wheel size for the 70 ton coal hoppers. The society sold these through the commissary several years ago. There were MDC. I found a few boxes that I had stored away and was wondering if they took the 36 or 33 inch wheels.
