John: I know what you mean. Fortunately, I have put off some projects long enough that I didn't get around to them before they were produced commercially. On the other hand, we are truly in the "golden age" with what is now available commercially. I started the hobby in 1946, so I have done a lot of scratchbuilding and kitbashing. Jim Nichols

Athearn also makes #1804. It figures that they would come out with these just as my Rail Power shelled #1801 is ready for paint.
