N&W neon Signs

Now that I think about it, I know some other folks who may be interested in either an N&W sign or an NW sign as well. Could someone write a brief history of these signs including when it was first erected, when the railroad changed it to NW, and when it was taken down? I'll be glad to forward that on and see what kind of interest that generates.
