Well,
In all sincerity, I would find it an honor to be handed the care of such a labor of love as that layout.
I have been searching for something. Whatever it is that I would like to model. As yet I haven't figured out exactly what it is I'm wanting to build. That's part of the reason I haven't started to build anything more than a 4x8 layout. I just haven't been able to nail down what I want to build. Being indecisive is one of my faults. I have a lot of crazy ideas, but have a hard time narrowing it down. Also, I'm not good at coming up with ideas. I'm good a polishing and refining them, but most of my original ideas were borrowed from someone else.

If someone ever gave me a big layout I'd just put it back up and leave it the way it was. I think my skills are better served as a caretaker than a builder.

I'm sure if you & Gary Price showed up with a coupla breaker bars & a Sawzall, the good Dr. would be more than happy to see his work go to a good home!

Hey!!! If they're gonna take a crowbar to it, give it to me! I have a largely empty basement that can use it!

That's one impressive layout. I'd love to hear more detail, see a trackplan,
etc., than the general-interest newspaper article provided.
I hope the Pulaski folks find a way to save it -- quick.
Heck, I'd like even VMT to save it, if it looks like somebody's about to
take a crowbar to it.
For the old-timers; it was cool to see the old Walthers Marn-o-Stat
throttles still in use in this DCC age.
