radio frequencies

Kalmbach publishes such a book specific to the AAR channels. For better
results, you will need to consult with the 'locals' as railroads use
multiple frequencies for certain sections of the railroad.

For NS 161.190, 160.440 and 160.250 can be used for road channel on older
N&W and Sou areas. However, some frequencies will be yard or terminal, MoW,
police and so on. This changes from area to area so radio chatter can be
aimed specifically at certain work and railroad traffic.
