Virginian AE's

Does anyone know how many of the Virginian AE
2-10-10-2's were equipped with a BL feedwater heater? 
I've found one photo which indicates 806 had one. 
This was also confirmed by a drawing at NWHS archives
(no. 69-F), but a note on the drawing stated that it
was appropriate for 806 only.  Was this a one-off mod?
