Hi; Two essential references are Digitraxx' "The Big Book of DCC" and not quite as useful but good for the beginner Lionel Strang's Kalmbach book on DCC for beginners. One of the best and easiest to understand series of articles on DCC has been what has been published over the past few years in MODEL RAILROADING (thats ING, not ER). Finally, the best, easiest to understand DCC reference, though it is voluminous, is the DCC CYCLOPEDIA put out by Loy's Toys. Good luck, and go straight to sound decoders as long as you are starting new, you will be glad you did (anyone want to buy about thirty non sound decoders?) Dan.
