H-21a 4 Bay Hopper cars

Sorry, Nigel.  These were the cars leased from the PRR.  They were 4-bay hoppers, of which N&W built none.  They were PRR class H21a and were red (boxcar or oxide red) and had the N&W reporting marks with "PRR Ownership" in the upper right hand corner of the car.  They kept their PRR numbers (all six-digit) under N&W reporting marks.

I remember seeing these cars back in the dark ages in the N&W coal fields.

I'm looking at N&W 709991 on the display track on my desk . . .

    I notice that Bowser has several Norfolk & Western H-21a 4 Bay Hopper cars in the red color sceme. Did the N&W really have them in that color? I always thought they were all black.
