Your presence made the event truly special, and we were thrilled to welcome over 20 guests—including several who hadn’t seen the archives since the remodeling began. The positive feedback on the cleanliness and organization of the space was deeply appreciated.

> One donor discovered he had materials that could help fill gaps in our NS staffing reports.
> Another was inspired to return as a volunteer after realizing how close Greensboro is to Roanoke.
> And together, we celebrated a major milestone: the 250,000th item indexed into our database!
> A heartfelt thank you to our volunteers, whose help with providing guided tours, setup and teardown to ensured everything ran smoothly. Their dedication is a cornerstone of our success.

> The food, invitations, and donation box were generously provided by Drive the Train Press, LLC. We also learned a valuable lesson for future events—postcards should be mailed at least four weeks in advance to ensure timely delivery.

> We’re excited about the possibility of hosting another Open House in conjunction with the next Board Meeting at Headquarters. It would be a wonderful opportunity to continue building relationships and strengthening support for the Society.
