Tales to Astonish

I was at Coopers on the 13th and low and behold a new bridge has appeared
at almost the exact location as the one for the original line up Mill
Creek.  The company store side is almost on top of the remaining abutment
for the original bridge as I have tried to show in the second attached
photo.  At least this location will now be marked by something that may
endure further into the future, but on the other hand, I wouldn't bet
against the longevity of those original stone abutments now a century and a
half old.
