Class A 1208 Tests on the Pennsylvania RR

 I found another two sources:
1. C&O 2-10-4 Locomotives by Karen Parker, pgs 71-72.
The primary source for this excerpt is from another source that I provided to COHS:
2.  Milepost, Vol.10, no.5, Nov 1992, "Off The Shelf " by Charlie Meyer, pgs 19-21
If you don't have access to these  and the previously mentioned sources, let me know and I'll try to come up with a summary.  The basic flaws were lack of performance, possibility of poor quality coal, roller bearing design, and boiler outswing causing clearance issues on curves.
Also, John Rhodes, if you know what those articles were, pls let me know.  I've long forgot  when they were published. Ah, the disadvantages of aging.......
