The Virginian Railway and the US Military Railway Service

 I read an article on Wikipedia about the US Military Railway Service that mentioned that "all class I railroad companies were to create a battalion for the war effort."
The Virginian Railway was a Class I company.  But the Virginian is not mentioned on the article's list of railroads that sponsored a shop battalion or an operating battalion.
Does any body have some information to share about the Virginian and its relationship (or lack) with the US Military Railway Service during WWII?
