 Jim - N&W published a hard-back booklet titled N&W Coal and Coke Operations.  It shows the company name, mile post location, and governing agency for the mine.  From memory, there were three coke industries east of Norton on the Clinch Valley District.  The manual may be able to assist you and a copy is on file at the archives.    Harry Bundy
