A Telegraph Story for Abe

That is an easy one, Herr von Harper !  There was no telegraph wire so the
couple was married by carrier pigeon ! The journalist just fabricated the
other parts of the story.   I am truly surprised that a man of your acumen
could not figure that on his own...

Separately, I am emailing Herr Harper a telegraph marriage story from the
Electrical World journal of November 22, 1884.  It is not suitable for
posting on a discussion forum like this one.  If anyone else wants it,
