meeting on B Line Front Royal to Broadway

I attended first of 3 meetings VDOT is having on out of service NS B Line between Front Royal and Broadway VA.  This meeting was in Timberville, well over 200 people were there. 2 proposals are rail with trail (keep tracks) and rail to trail (remove tracks). VDOT gave a short presentation  and no public discussion. There were posters, diagrams and representatives to talk to and comment forms. There was a typist to take down oral comments. 
Key points:
  Rail with trail will fit in right of way which is 66 feet at narrowest places. 
  VDOT will not make a recommendation  
  Cost estimates were not given
  Economic impact was not given

  Thursday April 10 5-7 PM
  Warren County Government Center, 220 N Commerce Ave Front Royal,Va

  Tuesday April 15 5-7PM
 Peter Muhlenburg Middle School, 1251 Susan Ave Woodstock, VA

Any supporters who can show up will be helpful, the trail only group is trying to have a large group there.
