Interesting to note........812 was the Last Phase II so picking 813 is interesting.

Athearn N&W passenger Phase II GP9's both Red and Blue. 500-505 had 4-36" fans.  506-521 had 2-48" fans (some information calls 506-521 Phase III.

Per the N&W Motive Power's diesel data book, Oct 1964, below are the horns listed for each group of original N&W GP9's:

500-521 - Leslie S-5-TR
620-914 - Leslie S-5-TR or Nathan 135-R-24

Keep in mind too...at times horns were switched around for various reasons so there were exceptions to what the Motive Power Dept listed.

The first four were delivered in 1955 numbered 10 thru 13 soon after the first four RS-3’s (IIRC).  Not too long after they were renumbered 710-713. They were painted black with numbers and letters in the same color and font style as N&W steam power.  The first GP-9’s were phase 2 style carbodies with dynamic brakes.  The radiator fans were four 36 inch cap tops.  The air horn was mounted at the mid point of the cab on the centerline of the locomotive.  Years ago, Life Like offered Proto 2000 Models in HO scale of 710 and 713.  I hope this answers your question.
