Vestibules on passenger cars

As Jim said, it was not always trailing, but that was the desired set up if possible. On occasion, when the opportunity appeared, they might even turn a car to keep it trailing. I know when I was dealing with setting up consists for excursion trains, I would always specify to have vestibules trailing. I doubt even 10 percent of today’s railroaders even would know what we are talking about!
