Auxiliary Tender Electrical Connections for Headlights

Can anyone describe the electrical connection which was used between tenders and A-tanks, to provide for lighting of the back-up headlight ?

I was always too fascinated by the water hose connection, and never paid any attention to the electrical connection. It was another case of, "being young and not even knowing what questions to ask."

It would be natural to think that the railroad used receptacles and plugs from the Pyle-National Copmpany.  And, as talented as the East End Shop people were, The jumpers may have been put together right there.  Who knows ...
