The attached USGS map still indicates where the balloon track was 
located.

About 1910, the overhead type of coal wharf, similar to what was 
originally at Vicker was built. This with a balloon track is depicted in 
this drawing:

Which I would daresay was several hundred feet west of the original 
location, today, it is an elevation change there, and it really does not 
be a lot, maybe 15-18 feet, but not a trace remaining from the aerial 
view, but I’d take a guess that the dark area running across the track 
is pretty close:
