 As I remember, when first "backdated" it even had an old fashioned pilot, but this was soon replaced by the standard N&W boiler tube pilot, so that the front coupler could be used.

The 475 was back dated as you see for Roanoke's Diamond Jubilee, 75th 
Anniversary, celebration in June 1957.

It was briefly displayed in Bristol sometime after the 1957 NWHS 
Convention and remained in this configuration until sold to Virginia 
Scrap Iron & Metal.
