Tim, your comment (below) about Jawn Henry at Boaz got me to take a second
look at an image in the archives that I previously overlooked. Another
$14.00 to the commissary (actually ordered 3 last night). I really wish we
had a membership level (say $120/year) that allowed unlimited access to
images.
Coincidentally, this is mislabeled in the Archive as Bonsack; it is Boaz. I'm
at a point where I know that weeping willow from memory - not sure if that
is a good or a bad thing. 😐 It is refreshing to find a small section of
the railroad that is well documented that is not Shaffers Crossing or
Bluefield, after all the time I've spent looking for images of Auville.
