I also am not a fan of Facebook and do not have an account on it or any other “social media” platform.  Whereas I have received many interesting facts, history, and stories on this mailing list.  I would not wish to see it all move to Facebook.

I agree that Facebook is not a good choice. I think that would encourage a lot of comments that were neither relevant nor accurate.
