Rural Retreat Depot is open today

Mr. Hodges,The historic Depot is restored, and is operated as a meeting space and a museum. There are exhibits about the various railroad owners, O. Winston Link, Dr Pepper, and more. The freight scales were restored to working order, and there is a station order on the wall dated 1893, original telegraph equipment, and a lot of donated railroad memorabilia.
