We pass this on from Norris Deyerle about the passing of Tom Ledford of Lynchburg. Tom was quite the historian and retried as the Curator/Director of the Lynchburg Museum and was very much interested in the history of railroads of the area.

>> It's with great sadness that I inform you Tom Ledford died last night in an Allentown, Pa. hospital after suffering serious injuries in a traffic accident in Allentown last Friday, May 6th.  Tom, and wife Mollie, were on their way to vacation in Maine when the accident occurred. Mollie was also injured but was recovering out of the hospital.
