Norfolk: Railroad Photos ca. 1960

I don’t think the photos in this collection that I’ve looked at are lacking in sharpness. You can enlarge the photos with the diagonal arrow button in the toolbar above the pictures, then zoom in using the plus and minus keys on your keyboard or a mouse’s scroll wheel. There is a lot of detail to be seen. This is a screen shot of zooming in on photo 47 for example:

Subject: Norfolk: Railroad Photos ca. 1960

 

Cornell University has 60 photos taken at Portlock, Sewell's Point and Lamberts Point (three webpages, 20 images per webpage.)  All are identified as having been taken in 1960, but that appears to be an approximate number someone pulled out of the air. They also appear to be amateur-grade photos, as far as composition and sharpness, but shucks, any photos of the railroad 60 years ago are worth a gander.
