GP-30 OE Horn Setup

    Essentially  the same horn just separated on to two manifolds . never sounded any different to me .
Post on the horn and whistle Facebook page those guys give you more info than you want.

Howdy Folks,

I’ve been studying the “as-delivered” horn set up on N&W HH GP-30’s.  The N&W Locomotive Guide from 1967 shows the horns as 1-Leslie S2AR and 1-Leslie S3BX. Does anybody remember how these horns sounded in comparison to the Leslie RS5T (N&W standard horn on most Geeps)?
