Passenger rail is to return Salem to Merrimac in 2025 with two trains in 
each direction daily. This will be the first passenger service on this 
line (other than a few 611 trips) since about 1954. I look forward to 
these daily viewings. Once owned by the Commonwealth this line will 
continue to host NS freight trains on a pay for use basis.

Ray, Are you saying there is going to be a passenger train that 
originates in Merrimac and terminates in Salem, and then returns?   Who 
will be the operator?    Planned frequency?     Curious,  John Garner,
