Lynchburg woman dies after being struck by train in Campbell County

    Understood.  Six Mile Bridge (listed as the location in one news article I saw) is in Campbell County and the
“old line” that passes through there was abandoned about fifty years ago. CSX does go through the Six Mile Bridge area.          RAy    On the east side of the N&W bridge was a shelter, flag stop for local passenger trains,,named JAMES.
