Sure, use this picture and feel free to publicize our reopening. It will be June 5.

Carolina Model Railroaders is in Greensboro and is over 40 years old. We are Digitrax DCC and are HO and N but are also building an HON3 section.  We also have a small DC Z scale layout that we show on special occasions.

We share the former Greensboro REA building next to our beautiful large restored SR passenger station with the Greensboro Chapter NRHS and have a small RR museum in the lobby that features the bell from the engine from the 1903 Danville “Wreck of the Old 97.”

Visitors are welcome Thursdays 7-9pm, Saturdays 10-5 and Sundays 2-5pm.

> One of our modelers built this from scratch. It is a representation of the Perdue Chicken grain loading facility near West End, NC in the Sandhills area. It is completely lit, although I couldn’t figure out how to turn the lights on when I shot this picture a couple of hours ago. It is really a work of art. Thought you would enjoy seeing it.
