I replied back to this yesterday for some reason the moderator deleted it. It’s no secret it’s already out. But if you announce the route and date

to the general public then you have daisy pickers out everywhere trespassing possible getting hurt. best to just not say and keep them at bay. Railfans will

always find out anyway if you truly want to watch a diesel tow a steam locomotive .

I'm somewhat confused. Is this a secret and going to cause someone trouble if it gets out? I doubt seriously if the NS felt they could move her without people finding out. I understand the danger of moving her or ANY TRAIN for that matter but that's a daily occurrence on all railroads. Railroad property is PRIVATE so, yes, do not trespass, but watching trains is as American as apple pie. Everyone needs to respect their property and use common sense. I know that's hard to do on many peoples "to do list".

By TRANSFERRED what do you mean? Is this a "VISIT" to Strasburg or is it being homed there on a permanent basis?

There is a reason for not announcing to the public and rail fans so I will respect that and not share it or should you .

Greetings,

If anyone knows the date and time the N&W J611 will be transferred to PA. please let me know. It would be helpful to know the route that it's taking. I do not want any of this information from anyone if it will get anyone in trouble with NS. I do plan on sharing it with railfans that have asked for this information especially after viewing this segment on WSLS 10 News in Roanoke, VA.

Do not trespass on NS property.

Safety First,

Norris
