Ex-N&W/Wabash C424

In a message dated 11/27/2020 5:44:54 AM Eastern Standard Time, nw-mailing-list at nwhs.org writes: ex-N&W/Wabash C424 2409.  Apparently she is backing working order and was hastily patch painted in Wabash livery for the ribbon cutting This is not a former N&W unit nor Wabash unit, Wabash railroad did not have a unit with this number (2409) Wabash did have Alco C-424, Wabash numbers B900 thru B906 (became N&W 3900 thru 3906 ) The N&W did have number 2409 an EMD GP7 of the former NKP line. (409) So not sure what the heritage of this unit is. Bob B.
