What is the Triangle Symbol on Hoppers

To address your question about sleeve (or cartridge) bearings for 
freight car axle journals, I am attaching scans of two pages in the 1957 
Car Builders' Cyclopedia showing details of the Clevite brand of that 
type bearing.
